Musical Notes From Me

Haydn, Bach, Chopin, Schumann........... Prelude, Nocturne,
Invention............. Practice, Practice, Practice!!!! Get the
idea?:) I have begun preparing for MDML which takes place
on March 2. It is a very strenuous event which requires
preparation and practice. It is 2 hours long. I will be going
from room to room for different categories of piano testing.
I must have three pieces memorized, which must be from
the three different periods of music. I also will be entering
Theory testing, Technic, Ear Training, and I'm not positive
about the other categories. So, as life continues, so does
practice:). And practice..... And practice.:) This event is
nerve-wracking, but very rewarding!:)

'Til next time, Amber

Amber, You will do fine. You always do. We know it is all because you are committed to practicing diligently. We are proud of you! You will go far with your music. (as if you need to have lessons on playing by ear!) HA HA Playing in church has sure strengthened your ear playing as well as your note playing. You are good! That's all there is to it! Love ya! Ironically enough we're performing pieces by both Haydn & Bach for oratorio this semester at GBS. Can you say, difficult! Bach as insane...in a good sort of way :)
