Ok, so I was thinking about mistakes today:). Yeah, yeah, weird topic. But, hey, some people probably think I'm a little weird,;) so what do ya expect?:);)
Mistakes..... Everyone makes them. But, what is the true definition? An error? Destruction of a project or piece of work? Failure? Misinterpretation? Wrongly identifying something or someone?
It could probably be concluded to be any, or all, of the above.
There's not a person on earth that has succeeded without a mistake. Vocalist, greatest musician, most successful business man, presidents, lawyers, writers, and on the list could go..... They may've worked their way to the top.... But, they still made mistakes. You can't get anywhere without it. And the quote at the top pretty much sums it up. In order to get anywhere, you have to be willing to make mistakes.
So, if a mistake isn't failure, then what is it? It's a symbol of willingness.... Stepping out on a limb to try something new and maybe falling a couple times.... The limb breaks.... So what? You climb the tree again, and try a different limb.....
Mistakes are bound to happen. But, what matters... is that you get up, brush yourself off, laugh a little and try again...... So, you make another one..... What does it matter? God isn't looking for people who do things perfectly all the time. He is looking for the ones that are willing to fall a couple times.

Mistakes!! What an interesting topic. We could probably turn this into a discussion or debate. I can just hear some people now, "Let's call it for what it is. A sin is a sin.." and on and on. But I agree. For instance, when I learned to ride a unicycle, I fell many, many times. If I would have quit after the second, third or hundredth time, I never would have mastered that "one wheel" thing (as though that's really much of a mastery, but you see, I can't lay claim to much else). I'm glad we serve a loving, caring God, who understands the motive of our heart. Love ya Amber! Sue
